Common Buckeye Butterfly
While cleaning my desk
I see something interesting.
A buckeye butterfly,
Impressed by the design expression .
Nicely arranged around its wings.
Distinctive eyespots
Which frighten off enemies.
But those sparkling eyes
I find fascinating
They seem to say "Hi"
Revealing a secret
An artist's masterpiece
Colorful and round
Like an owl lurking.
I thank the Creator that
His loves has sent to me
A suprising gift to contemplate
A buckeye butterfly.
