The Garden Within Her Soul
Inspired by my recycled artwork
She closes her eyes,
and a quiet garden begins to bloom.
Not in the fields,
not beneath the morning sky,
but somewhere deep within her soul.
Flowers surround her,
each one carrying a story
of a life once overlooked.
Humble pistachio shells,
once held in someone's hands,
now open like petals
to welcome a new beginning.
Tiny beads rest in their centers,
like little drops of joy,
each color whispering
that beauty has many ways to shine.
Around her,
purple dreams unfold,
while blue and green
dance together like waves
beneath an endless sky.
Perhaps she is dreaming.
Perhaps she is praying.
Perhaps she is simply resting
in a place where the world grows quiet
and the heart can finally breathe.
There is no need for precious things
to create something beautiful.
No need for perfection
to make something meaningful.
Even what has been discarded
can become a flower.
Even what seems forgotten
can find a new purpose.
And so the garden grows,
not because life has always been gentle,
but because beauty
has never stopped finding its way.
She closes her eyes,
yet her soul sees.
For the most beautiful garden
is not always the one we walk through.
Sometimes,
it is the one
God quietly plants
within us.
