Folded Light (Sonnet)
Within a forest washed in tender green,
Where drifting shadows breathe a quiet grace,
An angel and a nun sit half unseen,
On moss that cradles time in soft embrace.
With feathered light, the angel gently guides
The sacred art in folds both pure and still;
The nun receives, where silent joy abides,
Each careful crease aligned with heart and will.
From colored squares, their patient fingers weave
A fragile peace the restless world has lost;
In every form, small mercies they conceive,
A calm that blooms, no matter what the cost.
Beneath the spheres that hang from branches high,
She smiles—her soul made whole, her spirit nigh.
Ánh Sáng Gấp Lại
Trong rừng xanh dịu ánh phủ êm,
Bóng lặng trôi như thở rất hiền,
Thiên thần cùng nữ tu ngồi đó,
Trên lớp rêu mềm, tĩnh lặng thiêng.
Cánh trắng dịu dàng soi dẫn lối,
Nghệ thuật gấp đời, nhẹ như không,
Nữ tu đón nhận từng nếp nhỏ,
Tâm hòa theo từng nhịp tay dòng.
Từ giấy sắc màu, tay dệt mộng,
Một cõi bình yên giữa thế gian,
Mỗi hình kết lại là ân phúc,
Nở giữa phong ba vẫn dịu dàng.
Dưới tán cầu hoa treo lặng gió,
Nụ cười viên mãn—chạm thiên đàng.
3 Poems for Vista Poetica
The Weaver of the Rainbow Sky
The painted sky was heavy, thick, and grey,
A morning trapped in mist and lonely shade;
I feared the blue had simply slipped away,
Beneath the sombre backdrop I had made.
But then I took the paper, bright and gold,
I quilled a bloom to cheer the silent bird;
Within each coil, a story started bold,
A song of hope that waited to be heard.
Now in this room, the "Heaven Runway" glows,
The grey is gone, replaced by azure light;
From forty-seven pairs, the garden grows,
Two hundred gifts now take their sacred flight.
No longer lost within a gloomy day,
The rainbow stays because I chose to stay.
Star of the Heart
A single star shines in the dark,
Its gentle glow warms every heart.
It whispers hope, ignites a spark,
And guides the lost who drift apart.
Through stormy nights and shadowed ways,
Its steady light will not grow dim.
It turns our nights to brighter days,
And calls us home with holy hymn.
O may we be that steadfast light,
To show the way where love abides.
Through darkest fears, through deepest night,
A shining path where hope resides.
Let faith within our hearts ignite,
A beacon bright for all in sight.
Mystical Glow
Beneath the aged trees with lichened bark,
A golden field awakens in the night;
They move through grass that ripples, soft and dark,
While moonlight crowns the land in silver light.
The sister smiles, her Savior close at hand,
As fireflies spin trails of molten gold;
His presence calms the heart, fulfills the plan,
A sacred tale through centuries retold.
The stars descend as if to bless the ground,
A cosmic waltz where heaven meets the earth;
Each tiny flame emits a glow profound,
A mingling of creation’s gentle mirth.
Though shadows hide within the woodland deep,
This golden promise is the one they keep.
