A brushstroke leaves my hand,
Born from quiet prayer and love,
It travels far, beyond my gaze,
A gift beneath the skies above.

It finds a home, a gentle heart,
Cherished, held, admired with care,
And though the owner fades from sight,
The painting lives, a silent prayer.

Returned to hands that give it life,
To lift the weary, bless the small,
It moves again, a river of hope,
A gift of beauty, touching all.

I do not know the price it bore,

I left it behind, unaware,
