Brushstrokes of Faith
A life poured out, a quiet hand,
Colors blazing yet unplanned.
No coins or praise to mark the day,
Yet beauty travels far away.
The world may wait to see the worth,
Of every shadow, line, and birth.
But faith and love, in secret sown,
Become a light not fully known.
And though I may not see it shine,
Each stroke, each gift, is still divine.
For art, like prayer, moves in its time,
Its sacred journey, pure, sublime.
The Painting Finds a Home
I left it behind, unaware,
A quiet gift, hung somewhere.
Eyes that wandered, hearts that knew,
It found a place, a life anew.
She saw it shine upon her wall,
A treasured light, admired by all.
And when our paths finally met,
Its journey whispered, “Do not forget.”
The Guarded Light
Left behind, yet full of grace,
A silent heart in empty space.
Eyes that saw, and hands that knew,
Its precious life must be kept true.
Many gazed, their hearts drawn near,
Yet she held it close, kept it clear.
And when at last our paths aligned,
Its spirit spoke — our hearts combined.
Ripples of the Heart
I give my art, my time, my soul,
No coin or praise to mark the goal.
Yet quietly, unseen, it flows,
Where only God and angels know.
Each line, each brush, each tender care,
Becomes a blessing, everywhere.
Though I may not behold its gain,
Its light shines on, through joy and pain.
Summary of the Five Poems
These five poems celebrate the journey of creativity, faith, and the unseen impact of art. Each piece reflects the ways the Holy Spirit inspires the heart to create, whether through poetry, painting, or other forms of expression.
From the flowing blessings of a cherished artwork in The Journey of a Heart and the quiet grace of Silent Ripples, to the trust in God’s timing in Brushstrokes of Faith, each poem explores the sacred rhythm of giving, patience, and devotion. The Painting Finds a Home and The Guarded Light tell stories of how art moves independently, touching hearts, inspiring awe, and being protected and cherished even before recognition arrives.
Together, the collection honors the life of creation beyond the artist, the faithful pouring of the heart, and the mystery of God’s timing, reminding readers that the value of art and devotion is not always immediate, but always meaningful.
