Lily of the Valley
A Seven-Poem Devotional Series
I. Called to Bloom
I am a lily of the valley,
Blooming where God's mercy flows.
At Calvary I bow in love,
And share the fragrance heaven knows.
II. Faithful
Hidden beneath the Father's care,
I bloom through sunshine and through rain.
His gentle voice still calls my heart,
And love remains my sweetest gain.
III. Offering
With little acts of faithful love,
My quiet life becomes a prayer.
Beneath the Cross I humbly stand,
For Christ is always with me there.
IV. Surrender
Though autumn leaves may fade away,
My trust in God will still remain.
Each season teaches me to bloom,
With joyful hope through loss and pain.
V. Trust
When winter hides the morning sun,
My faith still shines with gentle light.
The Lord walks with me every day,
And leads me through the darkest night.
VI. Resurrection
The empty tomb proclaims new life;
Alleluia fills the skies.
The Risen Christ renews my soul,
And lifts my heart to paradise.
VII. Home
At last I bloom in heaven's light,
Where tears and sorrow are no more.
Forever singing songs of love,
With Christ my King whom I adore.
