For a long time I did a lot of knitting, especially the scarf. I made over 100 scarves and I gave them all as a gift, some to family, some to friends, and some to strangers. I recently was inspired by a young boy who is a master at crochet. So I picked up a crochet hook and learned how to make simple flowers, butterflies, and a heart shape. Then one day I went up to the attic and someone threw away a pop can up here. I picked up the can and I took off the pop tab. So I did research about the pop tabs project, and I saw they make beautiful bracelets. Then another day I visited one of our friends, and while walking around her backyard, I saw a bunch of pop cans in the trash can, what a surprise! I was excited, and the owner happened to be there to help me get the pop tabs off. I got my finger cut, so he showed me how to take it off easily by moving the tab back and forth. Then he asked, ``Is that enough for a bracelet?" When I come home, I have a set of abstract art sitting there waiting for me to touch up something. So I put the pop tabs on canvas into a mandala shape. It looks good. But I collected just enough for one canvas. One of our benefactors called asking for prayer. And I told her about my pop tabs story. And she said I can collect pop tabs for you. I was waiting for 3 months and finally received the pop tabs to finish the 2nd canvases. And luckily, knowing how to crochet with pop tabs can create unique items. And luckily, knowing how to crochet with pop tabs can create unique items. I made 2 bracelets, a necklace, and 2 key-chains. And I gave one beautiful key-chain to a lady who was giving me pop tabs to thank her. And I will create and make more beautiful things out of pop tabs.
