Bà Sheri

The Gardener

There's someone I know like an angel
Early in the dawn in our garden.
She used to work in a comfortable place,
That had a roof for good shade.
She worked indoors with pleasant air,
Sat on a comfortable chair
As an accountant.

After God called her husband,
In his middle age to eternal peace,
She became a gardener,
Listens to earthen breath,
Plows the soil and plants the seeds.
Then new life sprouts and hope proceeds.
She plants beets, zucchini, okra,
Tomatoes, sweet potatoes, green-beans,
Cucumbers, asparagus, and carrots.
And she doesn't forget the dessert,
Juicy cantaloupes, watermelons and strawberries.
She has a green thumb to cultivate,
Despite many enemies the pests and the weeds.
A happy day-her basket full of goodies,
Fresh vegetables healthy and tasty,
Enjoyable meals for the community much appreciated.

She also tends the flowers beds that
Graciously burgeon in the morning sunrise,
Shading colors white, yellow, orange, and red
In front of our Lady of Grace,
and for Jesus' Sacred Heart.
God gazes with a beautiful smile
So delighted and appreciated.
As a gardener she responds to God’s love
Close to nature where He exists.

HBTT

Viết xong HBTT gởi cho bà, bà ta rất mừng và nói I feel very very bless.  Và ngày hôm sau bà ta âm thầm hái một nhánh hoa hồng để trên bàn trong nhà bếp đang khi HBTT đang nấu ăn.  HBTT hỏi thử bà "Is this flowers for sister Mary?"
she says, no it for you!"

DELIGHTFUL IN NATURE

I take a walk in Sunday sunshine.
Authentic morning, beautiful display.
Seeing the white egret very calm and waiting
For some fishes lucky or unfortunate.
On the East the sun slowly rises.
Brightly radiant shading red and orange,
While the blue moon still appearing on the West,
Patiently waits for the sun to take duty.
The landscape pleasant with green grasses
Evenly cut like new piece of carpeting.
The magic lilies grouping tall and proud,
Well arranged in front of the Grotto.
Birds make music mingling with the wind,
Mixing together like a beautiful song.
On the tree branches a cute squirrel, chewing an acorn.
In the meadow rabbits enjoy chasing each other.
Suddenly then the innocent deer swiftly pass.
Placid atmosphere, sweet tropical scent,
Delightfully soak into my soul.

MORNING GLORY

MORNING GLORY

The Morning Glory are the most delicate flowers,
The petals like a soft silky fabric.

Heavenly colors the center is luminous.
Despite the drizzle, soggy, and gloomy day.

How amazing and cheerful it was,
To a gardener who planted the first time.

Graciously burgeon like a fairytale land.
Delightful display in the morning sunrise.

PASSION FLOWER

A beautiful flower amazing unique,
Great mystery in the Sixteen Century.
That symbolizes the Crucifixion

The fringe circles around like a crown of thorns.
The pollen represents the three stigmatas,
Where the nails pierced Jesus’s hands and feet.
The five stamens represent His wounds
The pale lavender pedals are the Apostles.

The fruit juices is remedy for bathing sore eyes
Its dried fruits and flowers are ingredients of many sedatives.
